DIY Feather Lamp Shade

After going to a party one night a few years back

I've notice a huge fluff lampshade made with white feathers.

I said to myself that one day I will own one of these beauty

With lots of patience, a glue gun, a lamp shade and about 30 boa of feathers.

You can do the same...

For a soft ambiance in your decor...

  During Christmas time the house gets all feathered...

Creates a warm and inviting ambiance

of patience to glue around the lamp shade (depending on size )!!!

I came across this blog and just felt in love with her office desk

Look at all the detailing carve into the legs and siding of that table, it is absolutely FABULOUS!!!

I have been shopping lately to find that exact table or sort of similar...

Like she as said in her blog it use to belong to her dad

I also like the fact that she is not afraid of colors ( it's only colors after all )

from the first look girly, bold lime green 

to chic classic remembering the dressing rooms at Victoria's secret !

It seem's like yesterday, when I did my front door Summer project

 Today I spend the morning gathering natural branch in front of my house from the field.
 To create the Autumn DIY project without spending money!

My Bling Chandelier...

After having bought and received my chandelier from Ebay, I did not like the color of it

Next thing I did,  I purchase some lacquer spray paint in black and started to work

 You can see it better here

 I did the project while our new home was in constructions last summer 

 It took me 4 cans of spray paint and lots of patience ...

  The hard part came when ready to be hang on top of my staircases

 without braking any one of the crystals  from the chandelier ??

My electrician is about 5 foot 6 inches and the ladder was border line big enough 

 to reach my 20 foot ceiling...

After my fiance, myself and one other persons help,
 the electrician was up in the air, holding, screwing, installing

standing from one foot and still with a smile!Ouf...

   My bling bling chandelier was installed after 20 min!!!

Done, Mission accomplished!

 From here you can understand the intensity of my story!

 Voila ...

After looking in my area for chandeliers I was astonish about their cost 

I turn myself to EBay and browse for days

 It is amazing the deals you can find there

from then on, I started to use it more and more, to buy on line.

So far I purchase 8 chandeliers for the prize of 1 in a regular store !
